In the place called Keezhaiyur (Thirukkoyilur circle of Villuppuram District) and in the holy temple of Veerattaneswarar, a new temple for His Holiness Sri Meypporul Nayanar was constructed and Kumbhapishekam was performed
on 12-12-2010 with the help of Lord Almighty’s and his blessings. This work was also carried out by Vridhachalam Arubathumoovar Thirupani Trust in a grand way. Continuing the same festival, the
annual Gurupooja is being conducted in a grand way by Sri Meypporul Nayanaar Worshipping Centre.
